 I was wondering if anyone knows if doctors are easy to come by in Saudi Arabia and what the standard of healthcare in Jeddah is like. I'm going to be living in Jeddah for the next year and have a health condition which requires me to have regular medical check-ups.

Healthcare in Saudi Arabia is of a high standard and there are excellent medical facilities in Jeddah, so you should not have a problem finding a doctor. There are even hospitals in Jeddah which cater specifically for expats; they are often staffed by expats themselves and thus mirror western practice. hi

healthcare is good - many, many hospitals and doctors, lots of specialists 

however everything has to be paid for.  Most hospitals deal direct with healthcare insurance companies, all the major internation companies are active here so make sure you have you insurance card

doctors operate out of hospitals and clinics, they do not have private practices but you are pretty much free to choose who and where you want to go

most medication is available here
